Covid 19 Information


We cannot wait to welcome you back through the doors for a much needed catch up and pamper. We want our salon to be somewhere you can relax and feel safe so things will be a bit different when you enter

*By appointment only

*Bookings via telephone only 

 *You must attend your appointment alone, unless you need assistance due to mobility 

*Please arrive to your appointment on time, and certainly not late as this may result in us being unable to carry out your service 

*When possible please pay by contactless card. But we can accept cash

*On entering the salon we will ask you to sanitise your hands and wear a face covering. Please feel free to bring your own mask or we can provide one

*We have removed seating from reception and replaced with socially distanced floor markings for waiting.

*We will ask you Government required health check questions for signs of covid 19

*The door may be locked when you arrive, but please be patient and one of our team will let you in when safe & possible.

While we were closed, we were busy preparing for reopening, implementing lots of new safety, hygiene and distancing measures.  

*For some services we will take payment on arrival to help us operate our one way system. At this point you may want to purchase retail, and please feel free to check out our new online store www.bolderoandfilby.co.uk for click and collect option, and we will have your favorite haircare products all bagged up ready and waiting.

*All services will incur a £5.00 PPE charge whilst these measures last

*You will be seated at least 2 metres apart in the salon areas and we have perspex screens between the backwash station

*Where possible we aim to minimise your contact to as few staff members as possible

*All our team will be wearing visors at all times and your stylist will brand new PPE for your appointment only. 

*You will wear disposable gown, cape and towel

*We are unable to serve drinks so please feel free to bring your own. No food to be consumed in the salon

*As we can longer take or hang your coat/ jacket, if you are wearing one please bring a bag to put it in to keep with you

* If its a cooler day and you feel the cold please wear something warmer due to windows and doors being open for maximum ventilation

*If you are having a trim please arrive with freshly washed hair

*If you do need to cancel or reschedule your appointment this would need to be done via telephone as we are going to be to busy to man our emails and social media platforms


  • If you have experienced any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days 
  • You have been in contact with anyone with cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days
